Mocho, Cola Larga, Smokey, and Canelo are four rescue dogs living in a sanctuary in Tulum, Mexico. They were street dogs. Now they have fat bellies and no idea what it took to get here.
For a year I returned to feed them, and then sterilized and vaccinated them, and when I realized no one was actually going to step in and care for them, I followed my heart, moved here, and haven’t looked back. They are the inspiration behind the school I’m building and the art I’m making. We need support to keep this sanctuary alive, food on their plates, a roof over our heads, so I can continue to heal them and teach them how to feel safe and to know love.
It costs $360 a month just to feed and medicate them — not including rent, electricity, and the space they need to live safely.
Every dollar goes directly to them. If you want to help, it means everything to us.
